Be your own coach
by sushiboyz on Sep.03, 2010, under Self learning, Social Networking
Many people want to change their life but do not know how to do it. You’re not alone. The growth of life coaching has increased dramatically during the last decade over the world. Many companies offer training, diplomas and certificates by school or institutes worldwide. Life coaching offer services to individuals, groups and businesses. The fee could be very expensive. What is life coaching? It is simply to support and encourage their clients in their personal and professional growth by helping them to indentify and achieve their goals. There are three methods to help you to archive your goal:
- The TGROW method
- The ITIA formula – Intention, thought, imagination and action
- Eight steps to success
TGROW – Theme, goals, reality, options and will. We are going to describe this method below:
Theme – To indentify your life goal. What do you want to change? Health, Career, Money, social relationship or home? You can try to identify all the features you come into your mind.
Goals – Do you have any goal? You can set up your goal into small steps, long, medium or short term goal.
Reality – It is important to be realistic about your chance to achieving your goal.
Options – How many options do you have for achieving your goal?
Will – Decision you have to make in order to achieve your goal. Set up tasks, deadlines and timescales. Write it down and actions!
Intention – what do you want out of life?
Thought – are they generally positive or negative?
Imagination – learn to use your creative imagination and respect your intuition.
Action – take small steps and keep going
Life coaching is a guided discussion or series of discussions between two people (sometimes more) either face to face or on the phone. The purpose is to guide the client to more success, happiness and wellbeing. The coach supports the client to learn new ways of working and get better results. Clients sometimes need help to guide them to make their own decision which way they should go or what they have to do. Life coaching focuses on the here and now and the future. Life coaching is a process which helps you think about your current circumstances and clarify your goals in a balanced way in every area of your life. Life coaching is a useful tool for putting together a plan to realise your aspirations in life.
Life coaching is NOT counselling or therapy. It’s NOT a short-term measure just to cope with current issues. Life coaching is NOT imposing theri views on the clients or solving their problems for them.
Self-coaching
Self-coaching is being a coach to yourself. This includes fostering your own wellbeing, willing to recognise your weaknesses as well as your strengths. Just as life coaches discuss things through making notes, ask constructive questions and write down the main points on paper. You need to put aside time for yourself, to read, learn and apply the tools and techniques.
Eight steps to success
- Set up goals
- Think positive to create the life you want
- Acquire the knowledge, qualities and new skills you need to become the person you want
- Evaluate your current situation
- Consider your options
- Take actions
- Keep track to your progress
- Keep going and be persistent
Goal is the first step of Self coaching. It is clear how important it is to have a clear goal of your life. Many people don’t achieve very much or enjoy life because they’re not clear what they want. The road to happiness lies in two simple principles: find what it is that interests you and you can do well, and when you find it, put your whole soul into it. Your goal should be grounded in your deepest values and balanced. It should be consistent and complimentary also physically possible.
Step two is to use the power of your mind. Your mind is the greatest asset. Your success in any walk of life ultimately depends on what you think. Your life itself and how you feel about it are the effects, and since you’re in charge of your thought, word, imagination and actions, you’re in charge of your destiny too. Negative thinking is probably the main single reason why many people do not achieve their goals. It’s a habit, usually learned in childhood, it has nothing to do with your genes. The ITIA formula is a complete approach to positive mental conditioning. Fix your intentions, correct negative self-talk and dispute unhelpful beliefs. Identify the actions that will take you closer to your goals and keep dong them.
Step three is to build desirable personal qualities into yourself. Certain character traits are closely associated with happiness and success, and all of these particular traits can be nurtured, developed and strengthened. We are born with no skills and no knowledge. All this is acquired as we continue to gain experience throughout our lives. You decide who you want to be and become that person.
Step four is to evaluate your current situation. Once your goals, your mental preparation and personal growth are under way. Try to understand all the factors which are impacting on your goal.
Step five is to consider your options. You always have more options than you think you do. Some of these may turn out to be non-starters, others exactly the solution you were looking for. Start by brainstorming. Ask yourself a constructive question. Write down everything that comes to you without analyzing or criticising. Then, and only then, eliminate the non-runners and refine your list to say, the three or four most likely to succeed. Finally, examine these again in detail ad act on the most likely.
Step six – take action. Thinking and dreaming won’t take you anywhere. Actions do! Effective action demands accepting personal responsibility, staying focused, knowing what’s important an what’s not, being willing to listen and learn, overcoming procrastination and face up your fears. Happiness and success require you to find what you love to do and put your heart and soul into it.
Step seven is to monitoring your progress. The most successful individuals in field understand that there is no such thing as failure, only actions and their consequences. They see setbacks is learning opportunities, stepping stones to success. If what you do works, do more of it, do it more often and do it for longer, do it on a bigger scale. Stay flexible, be willing to adjust your strategy.
Step eight is to put the power of persistence. Don’t give up!! You will feel better when you achieve something worthwhile by sticking at it. So press on. Nothing can take the place of patience and persistence.
Thanks a lot, guys and girls!

You can use YouTube to achieve your goals. I’ll describe the steps of how to create a great video, to promote your video
and to distribute it to audiences.
Be a big star in YouTube
There is a potential to strike it big with YouTube and you can be a BIG STAR in YouTube. YouTube was founded in 2005
and it revolutionized the way people all over the world sharing information, advertising, training and entertainment.
YouTube defined themselves as “a community where people are entertained, informed, educated and inspired through
the sharing of video.” Each month there is more than 200 million unique visitors clicked on this page.

difficult to find for users. By using YouTube to advertise their cooking show people now can easily to find their website.
“Cewebrities” is described as YouTube’s star. We have many cewebrities who earn money with YouTube to support their living.
If you can attract people to view and subscribe your videos you can be succeed in YouTube business.
A quick guide of YouTube.
The most easiest way to find a video is using the search field. Use keywords you can think about to find your related videos.
You can then sort them by relevance, number of times viewed, date added or rating. The watch page has tabs for video, channels and community.
The community tab has information of business nature, contests, groups and asked questions.
Sign up an account in YouTube you will be able to comment on videos, subscribe your favorite channels and collect your favorite videos.
There are different types of account and you may change it after signing up.
An explanation of different types of YouTube accounts:

YouTube offers you the opportunity to embed videos right on your web site or blog.
Using YouTube for profit and fun and marketing videos
You can be successful in YouTube if you have fun and work hard. It’s a fair play market and everyone has the same chance.
Producing videos may not sound as easy as they are. Many people have no knowledge at all in video editing. But, don’t give up.
Learning and hands-on in video editing can help you in many way. Uploading video is the easiest part of the process.
When your video is in place it doesn’t mean it would attract people to watch it. You need to market your videos.
Firstly, you need to set up your goal. What do you want your customers to do after viewing your videos? Have a marketing plan and follow your plan.
Create a channel of friendship amongst the YouTube users. Promote your business by leaving message to other YouTube users.
You also need to make a good first impression, be accessible and communicate regularly.
Now, the critical point is still the video quality. Keep the video short, light and free from too many details. Use Flash video because everyone
already has the plug-in.
If you are running a business and you want to promote your business with YouTube, it’s best to entertain first then advertising later.
Humor, sex and parody are most popular amongst YouTube videos. But, don’t do it if you are serious with your business. Stay with the facts otherwise
negative opinions will catch up soon or later.
YouTube is a free tool which we can use to promote our advertising video online. The next step is either the users visit our web sites or search engines
to find the product or service. Exposure is good as it can lead to sales. You should understand the community and don’t expect anything to go like you
thought it would. You also need to be prepared to adapt and change as you go.
Creating a good video there are two essential parts you should be careful with: preplanning and creating the video.
Preplanning are storyboarding and shooting your video. You need equipment to shoot your video.
To make a good video you should stick to your own style. A video with maximum 3 minutes, fast-paced and a big finish is ideally.
Have someone watch your video and note if they enjoy it. Timing is everything in a video and use light properly.
Use an external microphone if possible and edit tight so most shots last fewer than five seconds.
Editing software like Microsoft Movie Maker, Imovie, Adobe Premier Elements, Final Cut Pro Studio and Corel VideoStudio are
good editing software. The video format should be MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid), 640×480 pixels resolution, Mp3, 30fps and maximum 10 minutes.
Have a good title, thumbnails, annotations and music in background. Annotations help you to make remarks to your viewers.
Use royalty-free and copyright-free music.
To promote your videos take a look at the following advice.
- Embed your video to your web site
- Twitter it
- Share the link on YouTube
- Email the link to appropriate people
- Message a selected group on Facebook and MSN
- Post the link to the video in appropriate group

Here is an another way to distribute your video. TubeMogul is a company that provides market research information
about the online video universe. Individual can sign up for a free version of its video deployment service.

Another useful tool is YouTube Insight which is a free tool that enables content producers to glean valuable information about
the people who have viewed their videos. Hot Spots is an another feature of YouTube. It shows patterns in how viewers
watch their videos.

to check out. They can optimize your web site so that when viewers wind up on your landing page they make your registers ring.

ensure that your web sites or videos appear within the very first couple of pages of search results.
YouTube Partner Program
As we said to make real money on YouTube, you simply have to be part of its Partner Program. If you have enough subscribers
and a lot of views you probably can be qualified as a partner.
One of the popular way to turn viewers into buyers is to direct them to a landing page or microsite. A microsite is a type of
landing page that’s particularly popular among online video producers. It’s a special Web site created to support an online video campaign.
Advertising your videos

appear on your Web site or blog or are embedded on other sites.

popular video-sharing sites. Niche video-sharing sites like http://www.stupidvideos.com, http://collegehumor.com,

How to generate more followers in Twitter
by sushiboyz on Aug.05, 2010, under Social Networking
- Use retweetist. You can encourage people to retweet your links. Retweeting pushes your @username into foreign social graphs, resulting in clicks back to your profile. Track your retweets using retweetist.
- Fill out your bio. Your latest tweets and @replies don’t mean much to someone that doesn’t know you. Your bio is the only place you have to tell people who you are. Also, your bio is displayed on Twitter’s Suggested Users page. Leaving it blank or non-descriptive doesn’t encourage people to add you.
- Link twitter on your Digg, LinkedIn, Facebook, blog, email signature, and everywhere else you live online.
- Tweet about your passions in life and #hash tag them. Quality content coupled with an easy way to find it never fails. If others enjoy your content, they’ll add you.
- Bring your twitter account into the physical world.
- Take pictures. Pictures are heavily retweeted/spread around.
- Start a contest.
- Follow the top twitter user and watch what they tweet. Pay attention to the type of content they sent out and how they address their audiences.
- Reply to/get involved in #hash tag memes. Use search.twitter.com lists the hot ‘trending topics. Look for the #hash topics and jump in on the conversation
- Track your results by using Twittercounter. It will show you how many new users you’re adding per day and Qwitter will email you when someone unfollows you after a tweet.

Facebook: Personal or Professional?
For most of us see Facebook as a personal social network. LinkedIn is more like a business networking. You can have resume, get recommendation and some other business activities on LinkedIn. Many people don’t want to blend their private lives with professional lives. That’s understandable. Other people see their private lives can develop into a professional relationship.
After all, we prefer to do business with our friends. We trust our friends and hope our friends trust us. We wound never want to do anything against our friends that might disappoint them. We tend to work harder when we do business with friends.
This blending of personal and professional also helps to develop a strong community, real friends and interesting conversations.
How do we develop a Corporate Facebook Presence?
Developing a presence on Facebook provides you the opportunity to bubble up your fans and activate them with a community in which they can interact with one another and with your company. If you are looking for potential customers, fans or prospects you have to find them where they hang out. Yes, you can still have your corporate website and drive the traffic to your site. But, Facebook is the place where you can find most of your customers or prospects.
When creating a corporate Facebook you usually use a company name. Employees from the same company should use the company’s name as a standard . It allows users to search for you based on a company search.
First, you need to create a Facebook Page.
Facebook Pages -Corporate can create a page to share all information with other Facebook users.
Steps to create your Facebook Page.
- Claim your Facebook Page – This is the first step of creating a Facebook Page. Scroll down to the bottom and in the left corner, you notice a link says ‘Create a Page for My Business’. The most important is simply to engage with your community’s users. Update your status often. But, not all positive comments are posted in your community. If there is any
bad comment posted in your community you may just delete it. The definition of bad comment like violent, overly disruptive or racial discrimination should be cleared out from your comments.
Facebook Connect is a tool with many features. The most common use of Facebook Connect is for commenting. This function allows users to sign in
with Facebook credentials to post comments on a blog or website. You can also share stories or articles by using Facebook Connect.

Sysomos: The Kevin Bacon Game Applies To Twitter
by sushiboyz on Apr.30, 2010, under Social Networking

Many of you may have heard of or played the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, which is a trivia game based on the idea that any actor can be linked to actor Kevin Bacon within six steps through roles in movies. Of course, this game is based on an actual philosophical theory, Six Degrees of Separation, which refers to the idea that everyone is at most six steps away from any other person in terms of relationships. Today, social media monitoring and analytics startup Sysomos
has released a report
examining the interconnectedness of Twitter users and has uncovered a number of interesting results.
First, Sysomos examined the 5.2 billion Twitter friendships (the number of friend and follower relationships) to determine how connected users are with each other. And based on this, Sysomos discovered that Twitter is mostly a network with only five degrees of separation, with nearly everyone on Twitter just five steps (or friends, i.e. people you follow) away from each other.
According to the report, 41% of Twitter users have five degrees of separation between each other – meaning nearly everyone within Twitter is only five steps away. And many Twitter users are more closely connected; 37% of users have only four degrees of separation with each other. And 13% of users have six degrees of separation between each other.
Sysomos also examined the reachability of Twitter users, looking at the percentage of Twitter users that can be touched by reaching out a certain distance. Using the Twitter network graph, Sysomos reports that a Twitter user will encounter 83% of all other Twitter users by visiting everyone’s friends up to a distance of five steps. If the user visits all friends of friends up to six steps, 96% of all Twitter users will be covered.
In terms of local connectivity, Sysomos discovered that it only takes 3.32 steps to find someone who is following you (with a standard deviation of 1.25 friendship distances). This mean that if you trace your friends on Twitter (the people you follow) and their friends and so on, in 3.32 steps on average you will discover a follower of your own.
The interconnectivity on Twitter isn’t particularly surprising. Interconnectivity between strangers on the web in general has been increasing thanks to social networking. It’s also important to note the fact that relationships on Twitter are nonreciprocal (someone can follow you without you following back). This might explain why it takes fewer degrees to be connected on the microblogging network. In the real world relationships are two-way, similar to Facebook. Stalkers don’t really count.
Facebook already shows you your possible connections through suggested friends. And Cruxlux does this for you across connections on the web.

by sushiboyz on Feb.10, 2010, under Social Networking
All media including TV, newspaper and other traditional media channels go online. Improvement in computing and the increasing speed of Internet creates the increasing of Web popularity. The free information on Web also contributes the increasing number of users on use of Internet.
Blogging is one of the factor amongst others which affects the popularity of using Internet.
Do newspapers survive in the near future competing the free information on Web? I am sure they will survive though it may not be dominated as a century ago.
A blog is an online journal and it started in the mid-1990s.
Facebook had more than 41 million bloggers and MySpace had 75 million.
Now the professionalization of blogging has attracted advertisers who pay a price to have their banner ad on the blog. Most bloggers accept ad on their blogs and earn $6000 in average annually.
You can earn extra money by providing general information and commentary about the state of your industry or profession.
Your business in blogging might have audiences like suppliers, vendors, colleagues and customers. Most blogging platforms allow you to respond to a question/comment in a message thread from other readers. You should keep pushing content to keep your blog alive. You can use RSS (Really SImple Syndication) to let people subscribe your blog. RSS can be read with RSS reader like MS Outlook.
You need to update your blog at least a few times a week with interesting content to attract your readers. Crowdsourcing blog refers to asking readers of the blog for feedback in order to meet readers’ need.
There are a number of useful features on the blog, including the following:
• A menu at the top of the page takes you to specific sections.
• The most recent blog post appears at the top of the page.
• You can readily see where you can subscribe to the blog feed.
• A Recent Posts area links to all the recent posts on the blog home page.
